i have this code

format STDOUT_TOP
WRITE SOME THING AGAIN

format STDOUT
WRITE SOME THING AGAIN
.
}
now the problem is that u cannt format stdout twice in a perl script. but i have to do this because my two different functions print different formatted output to the screen.
so how do i get around this problem>?
