Arrow how to create header files in unix?

I'm working on a project of network programming using UNIX.
I have limited knowledge about shell programming .
how is socket programming done?
and how r header files included in the program??
anyone having any idea regarding this plz reply or mail at

its not a good think to post your e-mail, at least in that clear form in a public forum.
There are automated tools used by spammers searching the net for this kind of stuff in order to collect valid e-mail addresses.
