How to compile a program written on fedora core 5-


I have written a program on fedora core 5
vi name.c at dollor prompt
editor page is opened
I write the program like this

#include<stdio.h>
main()
{
printf("Sreenivas");
}

I come out by using :wq
AT dollor prompt " gcc -o nn name.c
" cc -o nn name.c
replies
gcc command not found
cc command not found

help is solicited.
