how to combine a .txt file and a .pdf file into one .pdf file

I have a large number of files of the same name in pairs, one is a .pdf file and the other is a .txt file and I need to combine each pair into one pdf file, for example:
myFirstFile.pdf + myFirstFile.txt = myFirstFileMerged.pdf
mySecondFile.pdf + mySecondFile.txt = mySecondFileMerged.pdf
...
I am not very familiar with scripts and I need one to do the job since the only solution I have found so far is to first convert the .txt file to a .pdf file, save it and then merge them as a single .pdf file.

I could not see a CLI or GUI command to do that and the only solution I found is through the browser (many clicks for each file).

Could someone suggest a way/link/hint to do that in Linux Bash?

Thank you for your help.

Install and take a look at ghostscript, that will give you CLI / scriptable tools for dealing with text and PDF files.
