how to add another system call in to the kernel??

Hello Friends,

I've got a problem here, i'm using redhat 9(kernel 2.4.20-8 ) and i want to add my own system call i've gone through the procedure given on following page.

although the description is based on 2.2 kernel i just wanted to add it and i tried it

but when i tried to recompile my kernel it gives me

undefined reference to sys_mysyscall

i dont know where it goes wrong plz any one tell me the procedure. what should i do??

Why ?
You shouldn't, there are already enough system calls ...
