How I can edit my modem driver module?


I ve downloaded the driver frm linuxant.com. But their driver is not providing the full speed of my modem,( unless I pay for it).........THEN WATS THERE IN SAYING "FREE SOFTWARE".

I think some guys out there will ve the same problem.

How can I change it ( in the source & compile it)..?????

If it is a binary then it isn't worth the effort - just go and buy the thing or another modem with support built into the kernel.
