How do write on parralelport without intern buffer

Hello,

i nowhere find an answer to this question, i need to write on the /dev/lp0 devicefile without buffering, i dont find any way to do it. when i open the /dev/lp0 device file with open("/dev/lp0",O_RDWD|O_SYNC); the buffering is even on. Can anybody please write me an example to print on a drucker which hangs on the parallelport without puffering, the write function have to wait while the printer completly print the buffer. There must be any way to do it. I coded the Centronics print way over ports, but this only works with very old printers. Please help me with my problem.

Benjamin
