Post help! shell programming help for newb


can u help me out?? i am new to this, so please give me a hand...
Q1. write a script file to perform the following tasks:
- Enble the file to receive eleven numbers as argumentsl
- Add those eleven numbers and multiply the total with the 4th numberl
- Display a different message for the result less than 250, between 250-500 (inclusive), between 500-750 (inclusive), more than 750.

I can't believe for a second that this is not homework, you've even left the question number.... this site is NOT for doing your homework. There are plenty of resources online already to help you get it done, and learn something along with it. Please do not ask similar questions in future. If this is not homework then please accept my appologies.

acid_kewpie, this is not a homework, beside i don't have homework anymore.
i am trying to learn these things myself by doing some of those self assess questions from some books...
sorry for misleading you to think it's a piece of homework,
don't worry m8, i m not that stupid to post any of my homework here, if any, LOL

Re read the books maybe? Granted you may need a starting push, but you cannot get all your answers online.
