help in multi media commands


hello there, using multi media commands, how would you open and close a dvd driver tray? help pls...references or an explanations are greatly appreciated.. thanks

See the "eject" command (-t to close if I remember correctly).

uhmm..you are referring to the use of the system() function -> 'system("eject /dev/dev_name");' and ejetc -t to close..what i mean is multi media commands (SCSI protcol)..w/c im having a hard time to understand T_T..
