He, ANOTHER javascript question

Hi all, and thanks for responding to unimaginative's (me) posts. Now I have another JS questions
what, ermm... I don't know the term, what thingamabob is the text color of a document, i.e. the thingamabob for the bg color is "document.bgColor=' '"
what is the thingamabob for text color, and what is the term of the thingamabob that I so desperately need to learn? Thanks, all.

I think it is just color. You would probably be better modifying style elements to keep in line with current web standards though.

thanks

I'm using JS because I wanted to create a button that switches text colors to make it more readable to different preferences. I'm sure you can do that in HTML but I don't want to bother learning the syntax of how you go about doing that.

I'm not saying don't use javascript, I'm saying if I was you I would change the stylesheet values not the html values.
