Having a problem with Make in KDevelop
I was wondering if someone has run into this and can maybe point the way to go to fix the problem.
I started a project in KDevelop, worked on it all last week and did get it to compile and execute several times (the last time was on Saturday).
Before logging off on saturday, I played a bit with the distribution options and had KDE make a tar.gz file with it (and a ./configure script etc...) all automated.
When I opened it up last night and toyed with it a bit, I tried to compile and now I'm getting a HUGE mess in the message window...
A *LOT* of messages like:
trying implicit pattern rule with stem ***** and
rejecting *something* prerequisite *****
I wish I could be more accurate, but they've been whizzzing by at 100 miles an hour for the last 10 mins (and show no sign of stopping unless I XKill KDevelop).
As far as I know, nothing's changed in the project, the makefile is there, I didn't add new components...
What's going on?
---edit/additional---
Ok, I let it run for about 20 mins and now I can see the exact type of messages:
"looking for an implicit rule for 'admin/libtool.m4in'."
"trying pattern rule with stem 'libtool.m4in'."
"Trying implicit prerequisite for 'admin/libtool.m4in'."
ad-nauseum (there's a LOT)
