gtk widgets layout
 

I'm new to gtk and started this gtk app but im stuck now.
The file menubar widget is visible but the buttons and other widgets aren't.
how do I get the buttons and file mebubar widgets to be visible at same time?
Im getting this error

They put text in a nice scroll box, use a monospaced font, and preserve indentation.
