GTK programming


hello,
I want to write a application that will pop up a windows depending on what output i want from daemon process.
Does GTK help me for that? what component of GTK can i use to display a file contenets created by deamon in window graphically?

If all you need is a popup box for simple dialouge, I recommend using Xdialog (http://xdialog.dyns.net/).
Through Xdialog you can create Qt/GTK dialog boxes based on what your user has available. I found it useful for Perl a few times (using this module: http://ui-dialog.sourceforge.net/).
