GTK+ 3.0 How do i change a button color?

Hi. I've been stuck at this for longer time than I would like to admit.

Can anyone show me the syntax for changing a button color?

EDIT : Using C

I found this https://stackoverflow.com/questions/...r-of-gtkbutton I haven't tried it, though. Also, from https://developer.gnome.org/gtk3/sta...override-color they recommend using CSS.
