The question does not have to be directly related to Linux and any language is fair game.

Question Good introductory C programming tutorial

I am looking for a (preferably downloadable) introductory C programming tutorial. I have some programming experience, probably very outdated, the first language I learned was PASCAL on a Terak, then various versions of BASIC on Atari Computers, then some Action (which I think was sort of a bastard combination of PASCAL and C). I don't know diddly squat about C except that it is very cryptic looking, which is why I have avoided it for so long.

I am running Mandrake Linux 9.0 basic version. I guess my eventual goal would be to write something that would run under KDE.
