Gambas: multi-form text manipulation?
I have two forms, "form1" and "form2". Form1 contains one text box named "TextBox1" and form2 contains three text boxes "TextBox1", "TextBox2", "TextBox3". I want when the content of form1->TextBox1 is modified, the form2->TextBox3 content to be automatically replaced by the new content of form1->TextBox1.

How can I do this in gambas? Thank you

I no longer have Gambas installed, but I believe that if you write the event Text1_Keypressed (or any event that changes the text of the TextBox) you can then make it to set the Text3 in the other form by merely assigning one to the other:

  Form2.Text3.text = Form1.Text1.text
but with Gambas it can go either way ;)

It doesn't work, I get an error message: Unknown symbol 'TextBox3.Text' in class 'Form2'

you Need to adjust the Project properties:
in project menu select properties > options
adjust (Module symbols are public by default) to yes
and (Form controls are public) to yes

enjoy if you still need this help ;)
