function who remplace feof


exist any function that i can use to remplace feof for file not streamed ?

ex.
int file;
file = open(.....) <- and here what i can use ?

ex.
FILE file;
file = fopen(.....) <- feof for this

For open calls you use read. When it returns zero you have reached EoF.
