Floating Point Exception in Fedora Core x86_64

Hi All!
I have Fedora Core 3 x86_64 installed in my system, I use this to build application so that it should not have any dependecy problem with any higher kernel version. The build and the application(written in c++) was running fine, but few days back I repartitioned the system and installed the Fedora Core 3 x86_64, after that the build process completes successfully but throws up a "Floating Point Exception" error when I try to execute the application. Can any please tell what could be the reason for this unexpected error message, is there any package that needs to be installed but I missed out.
I use dell optiplex 755 and run Fedora with legacy support on.

Please help me!,
Regards
Supratik

Floating point exception usually means dividing by zero. It's hard to say why it happens. If you build the application with debug symbols, you may run it under gdb, so it will point you to the right place in the code.
