estimating the data transfer rate between hard disk
Here is my problem I want to estimate the data transfer rate from CPU to the local hard disk using the C program.can anybody explain how to achieve this using example?

I am n0t sure what y0u l00king f0r, but benchmarking c0de can be d0ne with python using the fact module on a script. But this is misleading as it focus on your processor and NOT on your HD.
hdparam however is to tune in your hard drive parameters.
