ERROR 1251: Client does not support authentication protocol


hello guys,

i just updated my MySQL server and when trying to connect from MySQLcc i got this error.........

i google it and got several emty answers....what do you think???

i found the answer.....

mysql> SET PASSWORD FOR
-> 'some_user'@'some_host' = OLD_PASSWORD('newpwd');

mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

it's ok now.......though anybody would like to know.....
