editor for c programming


hi,
can some one tell me any good editor for c programming which
can compile and run the code.

"Good" is very subjective. What features are you looking for?

Text editors don't compile C. C compilers compile C. Some editors will call the compiler for you, but for any non-trivial project you will probably need to know how to use the compiler directly.

What desktop environment do you use?
