DOS emulator

Yeah, I know, window$ sucks, and DOS is out of date.... but Qbasic is the only language I know besides HTML, and I was wondering were I could find a good DOS emulator.
And on a side track, is there a similar language to Qbasic in Linux (ie open source)
Thanks a bunch guys

There's at least one Basic implementation on the SuSE distribution. I haven't had much time to play with it yet, but I installed it on my desk system. :-)

And there are others listed on the project page or on the GNU project list.

I think one of them even has an IDE that was written in Basic....

I can't remember the name of the package... As the years go by into the dustbin, so do the neurons. (Sorry. ;-)

Here's a couple of links I found (I hope they work):
http://cip.physik.uni-bonn.de/~hoffmann/X11-Basic/
http://www.yabasic.de
http://www.kbasic.de/

Good Luck

Frank
