Does RH9 "eat" some RH7.1 libraries?

Hello all. I finally put away RT7.1 and installed RH9 on my laptop to have the X-Windows work.
However, I found some original shared library (and link), for example, usr/lib/libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 is missing. But I need this shared library to use "motor", an IDE for the shell. Could anybody tell me how I can pick this library back? Thank you very much.

Oh, I did not find first that there is a tar ball available for motor. So after recompiler and build it, it works find with RH9
