does java's socket.getSoLinger() has any effects on linux ??


does java's socket.setSoLinger() has any effects on linux ??

or linux is already kind of has the timeout for it buildin and "locked"(lacking of words) ??


EDIT :: mistake ... should be setSoLinger()
