difference between these ways of importing?

import Tkinter


from Tkinter import *


they import the same? import goes just as fast in both ways?

edit: apparently not the same since from Tkinter import * doesnt work.

or nto fr what i did at least.

doesnt * mean everything?

anyway, whats the difference between the 2?
