Development Status
 

Hey guy how do you judge the development status of your projects? I have a project that's marked as alpha, but is actually pretty stable. What criteria do you use to decide when to mark it as beta?

Alpha is when you test it under lab conditions, then when you are pretty sure you have all the bugs out you can release it as beta for a while. Once you have fixed all the problems which people report, and when you are even surer that all the bugs are gone then you can release it as stable and move on to the next version. Thats my understanding of it anyway.
