Determining the load address of kernel module

Hi all,

How can I get the load address of any kernel module?
It seems there is no such command to get the info.
I know "kldstat" in BSD can do the job.

1. If I cannot get the address using any command, is there any way I get the address inside init_module by some kernel functions?

2. What would be the memory layout of the kernel module? where are the .text and .data positioned?

Any response is very appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Tommy

Have a look at /proc/kallsyms (used to be /proc/ksyms for the older kernels).

It contains all the entry points for the modules, including init_module. There is more documentation here.
