Debugging ISR


Hi,
Can we use printk in an ISR? Is there any way to debug an ISR over linux?
one more request could any body suggest me a good material regarding Interrrupts? Waiting for your reply...

I think you can use printk in an interrupt handler. The thing is that you should later test your code with all printks commented out to see if it work this way.

There's good description of Linux interrupt handling in Robert Lowe book "Linux Kernel Development".
