debug loadable modules with kgdb???

I have downloaded kernel 2.6.13 from and kgdb-2 2.6.13 from
I am using guides to get all things set up from:

I read that I can
I have not met commands in those guides “make modules” and “make modules_ install” to execute neither on development nor target machine.

How can I debug loadable modules?
Maybe I do not understand something
May be some things are missed in those guides???

Please help
Any help will be appreciated
