cryptographic pseudorandom function

hi guys;

does anyone know of any open source cryptographically strong pseudorandom function or algorithm that i can use in my crypto module?
please lead me into the right direction

Edit: Along with the theory, there are a couple of algorithm links burried away at the bottom.
