Cross platform software development

Hi,

I am developing a Bitmap Framework in Standard C++. I have already written a part of it using M$ VC++.

I would like to make a Source Package of my code so that it can be compiled on Linux too. I am aware of the make and configure utilities on Linux and have compiled Source Packages on Linux.

Please suggest some utilities that help develop such Source Packages in the least amount of time.

I think than you have to write a script to manage your needs.
Have a look to the shells, bash or sh is popular, but the shells have
all nearly the same features.
