Cross-Platform LibAO

Hi. I'm writing a quite simple application on Linux which I wish to be cross-platform.

I need to have a simple full-screen window which will allow real-time animation and respond to the mouse. I also need to do some real-time audio syntheis.

I'm planning to use LibSDL for the gui, and libao to write out the results of the audio synthesis, which will be computed in plain C.

Sitting here on my linux box, these seem to be the best libraries to use. However, I've never compiled either SDL or libao applications on windows. Are there any unexpected nasty surprises in store, or is it going to be a doddle/cinch?

Cheers,

Ross-c
