Configuring serial communications in Linux

Hi all,

I am configuring my pc(Linux os) to send data to other pc(Win nt). via RS232 COM port
With some test i carried.
1.I am able to send data from hyperterminal in windows to Minicom in linux and vice versa.
2.I am able to send data from my own program in linux to other end in win hyperterminal.
3.But I am not able to receive data from win hyperterminal(other pc) to my program.

Can anyone help with reference code for rs232 serial port communication in linux os?

Thanks ,
Nikhilesh
