Exclamation Compling C program for HPUX on IA/PA 64 bits

Hello Guys,

I had developed a C program on linux (x86). Now I need to port it to HP-UX OS on IA/PA 64 bit arch. What are the options to be used with cc compiler, on linux (x86), so that this could be done, if at all. Any web resource that can help?

Thanks a lot!

In theory, there might be NO problems - just recompile.

1. Set your hp compiler for FULL warnings
2. See if it compiles.
3. Scrutinize the warnings. See if any of them "look dangerous".
Post back with any questions you might have.
4. Try running it. See how far it gets.
5. Examine the code, analyze your application .. and try to devise as many tests as you think you need.

'Hope that helps .. PSM
