Post Compiling glut

My version of linux didnt come with opengl, so i had to install it myself. I think i got mesa3d and glut installed correctly, but when i went to compile a glut app, i got a bunch of unresolved externals. I tried compiling with the libs gl, glu and glut, but it didnt work. How am i supposed to compile it?

You're going to have to give more information than that.

Maybe copy and past the relevant make command and the error messages.

Actually i figured it out late last night. Instead of linking with -lgl and -lglu, i used -lGL and -lGLU and it worked. I keep forgetting that linux is case sensitive.
