Compiling code that requires gl.h... Missing gl.h?

I'm trying to do some OpenGL (C++) programming in Linux. But my main problem seems: Where is the "gl.h" header? I've installed a couple of Mesa-dev packages (Mandrake 9.1) and even though I found glu.h and glut.h in /usr/X11R6/include/GL, I can't seem to find gl.h. And shouldn't all these headers be in /usr/include/GL anyway?

gcc -Idirectoryname ...

OpenGL used to have example makefiles. Look for the "-I" in the make file, that will tell you the directory where it expects to find header files -- other than /usr/include.

same problem

Hi dominik81

I am having EXACTLY the same problem.

Did you find the makefiles and/or an alternative solution?

Did you try installing glut and glut-devel?

I am going try installing freeglut.

I cannot seem to locate the glut-devel libs at this stage.

Any help appreciated.
