Question compiling an authentication c program using pam


hi

can anyone help me to compile .c file that include <security/pam_appl.h>
I take an error
undefined reference to 'pam_start'
undefined reference to 'pam_authenticate'
undefined reference to 'pam_strerror'
...
...
...

Are you linking with the correct libraries (-lpam)?

Also, a cursory web check indicates that many folks have trouble linking libpam statically, I'd probably avoid that.
