Compiles on bash, but not in KDevelop

Hi!

I have a strange thing. I am trying to write a little programm with SDL and SDL_image. Using KDevelop 3.1.0

Just a window with an image in it. As long as I do not include SDL_image.h or any of it's functions everything works as it should. (In KDevelop). I include everything I get from "sdl-config --libs" and "sdl-config --cflags" in ProjectSettings, Settings for Configure, C.

But as soon as I include SDL_image.h the problems begin. I added the path to the .h to my CFLAGS. But it doesn't help. I get the follwoing errors o ntrying to compile in KDevelop:

cd '/home/sascha/C/sdlprobe' && WANT_AUTOCONF_2_5="1" WANT_AUTOMAKE_1_6="1" gmake -k -j1
Linken der Datei sdlprobe (libtool)
Linken der Datei sdlprobe (gcc)
*** Beendet mit Status: 2 ***

When I write a small Makefile and put exactly the same flags into it and try to compile it in the bash, simplay typing "make" it works! No warnings, no errors and the program works to.

Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong here?

The problem is, that some tutorial I found is for an older version of KDevelop, in where some settings are located in other dialogs and I am not sure what is what.

Thanks very much, Sascha

Are you sure all the linking optiosn are correct? It seems they're not. Turn on more details about commands run, so you can see the commands used when linking - it may be obvious when you see them. If unsure where is the option tell me which KDevelop version you have.

Hi there!

I am using Kdevelop 3.1.0. And to be true I never worked much with it. It's the first time I really try to do something with it. I always canceled using KDevelop, because I read 30 different tutorials and none of them really worked completly.. and the problems appearing couldn't be fixed completly... but now I wanna try really hard.

As I said, I use exactly the same option on command line as in KDevelop.

What can you tell me to do in KDevelop setting or project settings?

Thanks for your help!

Greetings, Sascha

In my KDevelop 3.1.1 it's in Tool->Configure KDevelop, General. Find Compiler output on the right. It has three options, one of them is Full. Choose it. Then it'll compile with full output.
