Compile errors involving lstdc++
We're porting modules that successfully compile using the aCC compiler on a HP server. Now compiling in Linux using the gcc compiler (actually, the g++ commandis being used). We are getting the following errors, and don't know where they are coming from:
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/../../../../s390x-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so when searching for -lstdc++
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/../../../../s390x-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/libstdc++.a when searching for -lstdc++
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/../../../../s390x-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/libm.so when searching for -lm
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/../../../../s390x-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/libm.a when searching for -lm
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/../../../../s390x-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/libgcc_s.so when searching for -lgcc_s
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/../../../../s390x-suse-linux/bin/ld: skipping incompatible /usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/libgcc.a when searching for -lgcc
/usr/lib64/gcc-lib/s390x-suse-linux/3.2/../../../../s390x-suse-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lgcc
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
We have libstdc++ installed in /usr/lib, so I don't know what its complaining about lstdc++ in the above. Any help would be appreciated.
