Code for connecting to 802.11 network.

Hello,

I'm in the process of a master thesis in the area of seamless handover on Mobile Networks.

I need to do some wlan hacking to get this project done. I have managed to write functionality for scanning for available wlan-sources. But I don't really know where to start to research how I on Linux would go about for writing code to connect to a wlan source. Anyone have any ideas where to look for ideas? Or anyone have a basic game plan?

Many thanks
Jonas

You could examine the code for network manager, and see how that does it.
