thus curtailing it to them. So as you're now experiencing is confusion so in reality Microsoft is causing confusion within the ranks of programming. This too is a military tactic, they make it there by renaming as much as they can so you have to adapt to their way of doing things, and living, so if someone goes else where, gets out of the military they become confused and cannot adapt to civilian life so they have to go back into the Military in order to not feel so confused.

It is psychological warfare of sorts. it works on some but not all, but the ones it does work on well they have them don't they. Same for Windows, We see it in here a lot, I am a Windows User And I want to do everything in Linux just like I did in Windows. Where one has to tell them, Windows is not Linux, or visa a versa.

They've become psychologically conditioned to Windows and are now having a problem adapting to a new way of doing things.

Here's the error I get from MS Visual Studio 2015:
Code:
1>------ Build started: Project: msvc-experiments, Configuration: Debug Win32 ------
1>  MyTest.cpp
1>c:\users\npostavs\src\msvc-experiments\msvc-experiments\mytest.h(5): error C2143: syntax error: missing ';' before 'namespace'
========== Build: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 up-to-date, 0 skipped ==========
Here's the error I get from MS Visual Studio 6:
Code:
--------------------Configuration: scratch - Win32 Debug--------------------
Compiling...
MyTest.cpp
c:\home\npostavs\src\c_scratch\mytest.h(5) : error C2143: syntax error : missing ';' before 'namespace'
Error executing cl.exe.

MyTest.obj - 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)
Perhaps you are from an alternate universe where C was defined differently?

windows 10 is irrelevant here. Exactly which compiler(s) did you try? Which one worked and which one failed?
(from the other hand copying files from windows to linux may cause problems if you forget about the different line endings, but probably that is another issue)
