Changing the amount of shared video RAM

Hello,
I have a MSI L720 laptop with i915/8M shared video (1.5 Celeron M).
It has a BIOS setup that has so few options that I can hardly find it usefull at anything.

My problem is that it perform very bad in Flight Gear, or even ActionCube (no way to play Nexuiz in realtime). And I uninstalled Beryl because was way too slow.
It has a slackware11+xorg7.0 with acceleration on (glxgears ~500 fps in window) Maybe a 32M may be an advantage.
Since I can not change the value from BIOS setup, is there any posibility to do something like 915resolution does with video modes ? I mean changing RAM allocation imediately after boot.

Probably this question sounds odd, but I would like to find at least if anyone already tried.

Best Regards,
Teodor
