Changes that are required to support a processor in Coreboot

Hi,

1) I am doing a study on modifying coreboot to support the latest Intel i Second generation processor. I need to know as to what changes will be required in the code to support the new processor.

2) How much time (in months) will be required to carry the required changes?

3) Also are there other BIOS' that I should look at besides coreboot?

Thanks,
cruiser

A -> Drivers need to be written for Northbridge, Southbridge, Super IO etc..

2) How much time (in months) will be required to carry the required changes?
A - > About 6 months to a year depending upon the propgrammes expertise.
