Smile cannot find -lpcap collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

i am trying for cross compile program using libpcap library. Normally i can access but using arm-linux-gcc getting problem.
how you will deal this problem...............

/usr/local/hybus-arm-linux-R1.1/arm-linux/bin/ld: cannot find -lpcap
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Silly question, but do you have libpcap compiled for the arm target? If so, do you have it somewhere your cross-linker can find it?
