Can someone validate this

I found this and I don't know if it is true. I know if someone put it on the internet it must be true. It is an interview with Stroustrup about C++ being invented to be so complex that it would never be used seriously.

Here is a link

Well!!! If it's true, it's a nuke.
If it's true, I could now argue that I'm not the only one who think that C++ is just crap...

But it still is a wonderful interview! So true! In the past I joked with my colleagues that Stroustrup must have pulled Kernigan and Ritchie into a bar, got all very drunk, and then drew up C++. And decided to make the language as much write-only as possible and pushed orthogonality to an insane level, far beyond where C stopped at the point where it was still useful.

That summarizes pretty much that first interview.

And yes, I have to admit... although I can write OOP, I never mastered C++... sigh
