Can anybody really help me to create my own shell for linux or unix. I don't want any refference book's details or something like that. I want to start right from the scratch,other than bsh,csh,ksh....... .if any one can tell me in detail it would be greate.

Well I'm no programmer but I'm assumming you know a program language? If so, perhaps you should look at the source of existing shells to get started or how to start. Writing a shell from scratch to me does not come off as an easy task, a lot of work and a lot of dedication. What is wrong with existing shells? Perhaps anything new (features) you would want in a shell you could easily add to existing shells already in existence.
