C header files

Where can i found detailed list about C/C++ header files and the function within available for linux platform.

I M using dos based C/C++ and want to program on linux platform but found stucked sometimes. In dos we r using conio.h very frequently and found it absent in linux. I tried to find on net and found a package which make available the conio in linux.

So if some thing is available like this, it will be very helpful for the programmers coming from dos.

Thanks
