Wink C and virtual memory


Hi every body...
can any one explain to me how I can use virtual memory in c language in a simple example.
any help will be appresiated.

When you run that program it will run in your OS' virtual memory.

Not what you wanted? can you be a bit more descriptive?

Hi itsme86.
I am facing a problem in recieving data(client) from the server(boat machines running redhat 9),I recieves only 361 Bytes of the data I sent .the rest are zeroes.
and I am wondering if I can use the virtual memory to solve this problem.if you want to see the code you can find it under thread"using buffer in C language"in programming part.

When you are running under Unix, you are always running in virtual memory, unless you write some kernel parts or device drivers.
