Okay So I'm know less than I should about QT/KDE for this project but still I am learning as I go.
I am writing an IDE-like program for KDE called Bridge.
The likely features list for the release are:
Quote:
0: Automatic indentation for all major languages
0: Project management (that is keeping groups of files as a project)
0: A simple gui for managing commands (they will be displayed in a list box with a 'run' button next to it).
0: Templates of commands associated with project types (though probably not actual code, I can't stand that)
0: CVS / RCS support (I haven't used either but I know alot of people would want this)
0: When making a command option you can click a check box to run it in xterm (actually I want konsole, but I can't figure how to get that to run a command yet)
0: A fairly minimalists interface
0: A basic guide to needed *Nix commands (how to setup make, basic gcc options and the like).

If anyone is interested on working on this project please email at
ryan.mccoskrie@gmail.com and I will send you QT designer project so that you can see what I want it to look like (actually I can't stand the automatic code of QTD but it is good for getting ideas down with)
The major help I need is in making it work without my code getting into a mess (code cleaning) and proper use of the KDE API.
NOTE: I don't expect to have this opening and saving programs for a few months, when I do I'll put it on source forge.
