If you want a paper book, check out Sams Teach Yourself Shell Programming in 24 Hours by Sriranga Veeraraghavan. I read it a few years back when I was first learning about (Bourne) shell scripting -- I liked it. (Until some shady character stole it from my office. I guess s/he liked it too.)
